General Manager
Description
GENERAL MANAGER. LEEDS. STUNNING GRADE II LISTED VENUE. HIGH VOLUME. CRAFT BEER & GLOBAL FLAVOURS. CULTURE-LED HOSPITALITY.
What you’ll get?
- A salary of up to £48,000 + bonus
- The opportunity to work within an independent business where you can really make your mark.
Who are they?
This is Leeds’ first dedicated all-day food and drink hall - and it’s been making noise since day one.
We're talking Best Newcomer awards, weekly sales pushing £100k, and a rep for being one of the most exciting openings in the city in years.
Set inside a 250-year-old Grade II-listed building at the heart of Leeds, this stunning venue brings together independent global food vendors (Malaysian, Mexican and more), Yorkshire craft beer, and a wide-reaching community vibe. From brunch crowds to late-night cocktails, it’s a place built on buzz, diversity, and accessibility.
They’ve nailed the launch - now they need the right person to lead the next chapter.
Who are you?
You're an experienced General Manager who thrives in high-volume environments and loves building teams as much as businesses.
You’ll lead from the front - in the thick of service, not hiding in the office - guiding a team of 60 through busy weekends, city-wide events, and everything in between.
This role is all about running a multi-faceted business - hitting GP, managing labour, building a positive culture, and working shoulder-to-shoulder with kitchen vendors, your managers, and directors alike.
You’ll need:
• A proven background in a high volume hospitality venue
• Top-tier communication skills - clear, open, and consistent
• The emotional intelligence to lead a big team with empathy and direction
• An independent mindset (even if you come from a branded background)
• A passion for operational efficiency - you love making things slick and productive
• Energy, resilience, and a love for hospitality that’s obvious to everyone around you
This isn’t a brand where you’ll coast or hide behind systems. It’s creative. Fast-paced. Hands-on. And it needs someone who truly gets what modern hospitality is about - people, culture, and presence.
