PAYROLL MANAGER

LONDON’S COOLEST FAST CASUAL BRAND. WHOLE, GOOD FOOD. FARM TO FORK. BIG ON FLAVOUR.

What is in it for you?

  • Up to £40,000
  • Flexible working for the right candidate
  • The chance to shape payroll across a dynamic hospitality group
  • Genuine growth opportunities as the business expands
  • Team discounts, a values-driven culture, and no two days the same

Who are they?

A fast-growing, London-born fast casual restaurant brand on a mission to serve honest, wholesome food that fuels busy people. Founded on the belief that good food shouldn’t be a compromise — even when you’re short on time —these guys offer made-from-scratch meals that are packed with flavour, freshness, and nutrition. With bold ambition on the table: national and international growth, new formats, and a laser focus on team culture that scales with heart. This isn’t just building restaurants — it’s cultivating a community of people who care about what they eat, how it’s made, and who makes it.

What you’ll get up to?

  • Taking charge of end-to-end payroll processing across all sites, ensuring deadlines are met without compromise
  • Ensuring payroll practices meet all legal requirements and internal policies, keeping the company compliant and audit-ready
  • Partnering closely with operations, HR, and external payroll providers to streamline processes and resolve queries efficiently
  • Managing employee data updates such as new hires, departures, and changes while monitoring labour costs versus budgets
  • Maintaining accurate reporting on payroll, benefits, and absences, and recommending improvements to existing systems
  • Being the main point of contact for operational teams when payroll questions arise, providing clear guidance and support

Who you are?

  • Experienced payroll professional, ideally with exposure to hospitality or other shift-based environments
  • Confident navigating UK payroll legislation and working with payroll software and labour scheduling platforms
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Able to work independently, prioritise tasks, and find solutions in a busy, dynamic setting
  • Comfortable liaising with multiple stakeholders, including third-party payroll providers and internal teams
  • Advanced Excel skills and an analytical mindset to support reporting and labour cost control
