A rare opportunity for a HR Manager, People Manager or L&D Manager to join this amazing group and take on their first Head of People role. Looking after 13 sites and taking care of the developing and happiness of a bunch of superstar employees, roles like this really don’t come up too often.

What will you get up to?

As head of people you will report directly to the COO. You will learn how the business works taking in all its strengths and weakness before getting to work with creating a people strategy. Formalises process, adding systems and pushing the business forward through people is the dreamy part of this role.

The head of people will own and develop the business culture, building on the foundations and principles in place. This role is an opportunity for a super passionate, energetic and inspirational people person to help shape something really special. You will develop the reward and recognition strategy for all levels of the business in collaboration with the operations team. As well as developing recruitment and onboarding strategies for both site & head office teams. You will provide expert HR advice and guidance to the business on HR matters, supporting managers in dealing with complex casework, performance, attendance and employee relations issues.

The perfect people leader will :

  • Be CIPD qualified, level 5 desirable.
  • Be open to developing a department from scratch in an independent business.
  • Ability to think entrepreneurially and be ready to grow.
